Are you the real Ikea?

Currently Ikea does not have any stores in South-Africa. At the moment there are no plans to bring Ikea to South-Africa. Nevada Furniture is an independant online store that imports original Ikea products to South-Africa. We are passionate about Ikea and we would like to share this passion with other Ikea fans in South-Africa.

Where is your showroom?

We do not have a showroom. All IKEA items come flat packed, we keep these warehoused as received from IKEA.

Where do you get your Ikea items from?

We source most products from the UK.

What is your pricing policy?

There are many additional costs involved in importing Ikea items to South-Africa. All these costs are included in the quotes you receive from us. We believe our prices are fair, but if you feel that an item is not correctly listed, please let us know and we will be more than happy to review it for you. We found Ikea Australia to be much more expensive than Ikea UK, so we believe we are offering you the best prices available. Additional costs involved in importing Ikea items to South-Africa include: VAT, import duties, shipping, insurance, travel costs, staff expenses, etc. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us

Can I find out if you will be getting more stock of items that have sold out?

Some of the items on our website do sell very quickly. You are welcome to place custom orders for any item(s) you wish to purchase. We have a minimum order of £200.

Shipping information

Standard delivery

You will receive a confirmation e-mail from us once your order has been dispatched, including the expected delivery date. We aim to deliver all standard orders within 3-4 working days nationwide.

Deliveries may take longer during sale periods or other busy periods. If you have not received your delivery within 7 working days (Saturday & Sunday not included), please contact us with your tracking/reference number. All deliveries are handled by a reliable and professional courier to avoid any delays or damages.

Delivery costs vary, depending on what you have ordered, where you ordered the items from, the delivery address and the delivery method you have selected. We will calculate the delivery costs for you during the checkout process. Your order will be dispatched once full payment has been received. Please contact us for specific delivery rates for locations where the rates are unclear.  All orders processed before 12pm should be dispatched the same day and all orders processed after 12pm should be dispatched on the next working day.

Other information

The couriers will contact you before delivery to arrange a suitable day and time for delivery. Unless arranged otherwise you can expect delivery as stated above.

We are unable to change your delivery address once an order has been dispatched.

Courier delivery: A signature is required on courier delivery. If you are not present at the delivery address at the time of delivery the couriers will not deliver the items and they will contact you by phone to arrange an alternative delivery date.
